The Best in Beauty From the Boot, Vol. 2: Neve Cosmetics - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Neve Cosmetics, eh?
Neve is the Italian word for snowfall, and while any other day I'd outset past telling you all near the cute reason backside this name, today I can't associate anything positive to any form of water falling from the sky.
This is considering information technology's been raining for two awful weeks, and my meteoropathic self can't take it anymore.
If you follow my blog, so you'll know that it all started with me evoking an ancient curse and triggering the wrath of the gods, so I shouldn't actually complain, since this horrible weather is all my fault (*goes to cry in the corner*).
Instead of moaning, I should focus on the flowers in my metaphorical garden, just as Karen taught me. 🙂
Neve Cosmetics definitely adds many flowers to my garden, including this adorable rose blush and the inspiring philosophy behind the brand… They call up that, just like snowflakes, all people are different and beautiful in their ain unique way, and I personally share the same view. I believe that makeup should enhance your natural dazzler, rather than mask it.
The Turin-based visitor also adds flowers to the lives of many by supporting nonprofits that help humans and animals alike, and all of their products are cruelty-free and free of silicones, parabens and petroleum products.
I haven't tried many of their products, but everything I have tried I love, so I definitely want to explore their range more in the hereafter.
My current favorites are…
Neve Cosmetics Blush Garden in Tuesday Rose (€x.ninety/$12)
One of Neve'southward most recent releases, this beautiful petty rose belongs to the Blush Garden, a collection of seven foam blushes, 1 for each day of the week. Tuesday Rose is a pretty coral pink that gives me the ultimate springy flush. It blends hands and is impressively long-lasting, even on my oily skin.
Neve Cosmetics Pastello Occhi – Natural Eyeliner in Avorio/Beige (€4.fourscore/$v.30)
I don't really habiliment nude liner on the waterline because it makes me resemble a horror pic doll, and I don't think it suits my heart size and shape, and so the manner I like to use the Pastello Occhi in Avorio/Beige is to line the lashline on top of a dark brown or burgundy shadow whenever I'm in the mood for something dissimilar. Sometimes I'll too use it to highlight the inner corner of the heart or the brow bone.
Neve Cosmetics Pastello Labbra – Natural Lipcolor in Peperoncino/Cerise (€4.80/$v.30)
Being formulated to be used all over the lips, the Pastello Labbra in Peperoncino/Scarlet glides on super easily and doesn't feel drying at all. I have to affect information technology up after meals, but it doesn't bleed, nor smudge. Its orange-red hue is ane I adore and reach for all the time in the warmer months.
Neve Cosmetics Elegantissimi Palette (€26.80/$29.60)
Elegantissimi (= very elegant) are the looks you'll attain by using these 10 neutral eyeshadows that have either a matte or satin finish. This is the palette to reach for when you want to wait put together, but non overly washed.
The eyeshadows are easy to alloy and, despite beingness silicone-costless, they won't fail you no affair the occasion.
The other twenty-four hours I wore them for nine hours (on top of NARS Pro-Prime number Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base), and they didn't show any signs of creasing. The only negative I can find is that they are a smidgen powdery, but as long as you don't overload your brush y'all'll be fine. I commonly experience very minor to no fallout at all.
Neve Cosmetics Flatbuki (€eleven.90/$13.10) and Contour Brush (€12.90/$14.20)
Neve Cosmetics also makes a pretty wide range of cruelty-free brushes. I've had my Flatbuki and Contour Castor for years, and they however look the same as they did when I bought them. They wash well and don't shed.
Densely packed but incredibly soft, the flat-summit kabuki is great to utilize both pulverisation or liquid foundation and to pat on setting pulverization without moving whatsoever concealer you may accept previously practical. The Contour Brush is my go-to brush whenever I'g working with sheerer blushes.
If you live within the European Spousal relationship, y'all tin society these and many more than fabulous products on nevecosmetics.it, or if you lot hail from faraway lands, don't forget to visit a bioprofumeria on your next trip to Italy.
